It started with a simple idea:
Build one of the finest electrical engineering firms in the industry.
We started by asking ourselves, "If we were to hire such a firm,
what would we look for?" First and foremost, we would search out
a company whose engineering staff had a proven track record. Next, we
would want a firm whose staff has the versatility required to re-engineer
and enhance the performance of an existing system one day, then custom
engineer a system for a newly designed process the next. Very high on
our list of requirements would be engineers with a superior level of creative
problem solving skills. They must have the ability to quickly gain a working
knowledge of a system they have never before seen, identify its system
requirements, and apply their knowledge of design to an innovative solution.
Certainly cost would also be a factor, as would quick turn around time
on project completion. Lastly, we would want the ability to reach them
for assistance when needed.
With that concept, REW was founded.
From its inception, the goal of Richmond Engineering Works has been to
enhance our client's productivity by providing powerful, innovative, and
easy to use solutions for their control system needs. Specializing in
the system integration of industrial control and factory automation, we
have assembled an engineering staff that is among the best in the world.
Our engineers have designed, supplied and commissioned numerous projects,
demonstrating an exceptional combination of scientific knowledge, hands-on
practical experience and an unyielding work ethic. Expert in the development
and integration of designs to suit any industry application, their project
