Power Distribution

Power Distribution Control Systems are dedicated systems used to control manufacturing processes that are continuous or batch-oriented, such as oil refining, petrochemicals, central station power generation, fertilizers, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage manufacturing, cement production, steelmaking, and papermaking. Power Distribution Control Systems are connected to sensors and actuators and use set-point controls to control the flow of material through the plant. Richmond Engineering Works has designed, supplied, and commissioned control systems utilizing motor-generator sets with Amplidyne™, Amplistat™, and Rototrol™ regulators. Our engineered projects include the removal of vintage sub-panels, relays, contactors, and resistors, as well as the installation of new front-wired equipment, logically designed for easy installation and commissioning.
